Here are a few reminders of things to do prior to your move:
  1. Call and Setup Enmax or another provider for Heat, Water Electricity
  2. Set up your annual tax payment if you are using the TIPPS program (Tax Installment Payment Plan)
  3. Call condo management company and set up condo fee deduction(If applicable)
  4. Call and setup internet/cable
  5. Setup Home insurance 
  6. Setup Mail forwarding to new address through Canada Post
  7. Change address on banking, drivers license,car insurance and any other documents you are mailed to your current home

If you are moving away and cancelling all services here are some reminders:
  1. Cancel Enmax or another provider for Heat, Water Electricity
  2. Cancel annual tax payment if you are using the TIPPS program (Tax Installment Payment Plan)
  3. Cancel your monthly condo fees for the possession day of new owner (If applicable)
  4. Cancel internet/cable and ensure all equipment is returned
  5. Cancel Home insurance 
  6. Setup Mail forwarding to new address through Canada Post
  7. Change address on banking, drivers license, car insurance and any other documents required
